"He is nothing who can do nothing. He can achieve nothing, fulfill nothing, without working." 1. Explain the passage. 2. State your stand. 3. Give an example to illustrate your stand.
If a person is lazy to work and do nothing to achieve his dreams then he will have nothing and he will not fulfill his dreams anymore. Like for example, if I will do my very best and be industrious enough in my studies then I can achieve my dreams in the future, but if I am lazy to do my school works and I did not do any effort to past in any subjects then there is no possibility that I will achieve my dreams. //crisha santos//
The quotation "He is nothing who can do nothing. He can achieve nothing, fulfill nothing, without working", means if you are not working you don't have money or things you want because you don't have money to buy. If you are not also working you can not achieve your dreams because you are not doing something to achieve it. You can not also fulfill your skills and talents because in working it helps you develop your skills.
This quotation is true because in working it helps you develop your skills. Like for example if your parents told you to go in the field to plant rice grains you are refusing and murmuring because you don't want to work in fields and it is hot. But your parents insisted you to go so you don't have choice but to go. When you were planting you discover that you love planting. You realized that you are good in planting.

He can achieve nothing, fulfill nothing, without working" means that if you are the kind of person having nothing to do with your life you will never achieve your dreams or goals because you do not know how to work. If you do not work you will not eat and you cannot earn money to buy your own needs in life. For example,you have a very lazy cousin. He don't want to do is homework so he let you do it everytime you have an assignment. Even in doing some household chores. Until the two of you grew up. But he is still lazy.you already have a work and he doesn't have. One day,he went to your house to borrow some money . But you said that if you will let him borrow some money how can he pay it . if he dont have a work.

The quotation means that a kind of person that does nothing achieves nothing at all and a person wants to fulfill something but does not do anything will fulfill nothing . For example, a person wants to graduate from high school but he is very lazy for it. Sometimes he does't go to school and sometimes he is cutting classes. With this kind of attitude, that person wont be able to graduate. If you will not get serious in your studies you wont be able to pass and if you don't, you will not have any work to get. I know that their are jobs for the ones who do not graduate in high school but the salary that they give will not be enough to make you alive. So if you want to achieve your dreams, better think what you will do and the right thing to do is to work hard which is not very hard to accomplish. You cannot just borrow and borrow money cause where will you be able to get the money to pay the money you've borrowed and it is more worst i it has an interest. // Bran Villanueva
It means that a person does not achieve something if he doesn't work for it. For example, a person is lazy to do all his/her school works he can't have a high grade and he can't graduate and in the future he will not have a work and he won't have a money to buy all the things he need.

A person who is lazy to do work will not achieve nothing for the fact that he is so lazy to do any kind of work. If you do not start something to achieve your dreams, you will surely not achieve it.
For example,I dreamed of being the President of the Philippines. I will not surely achieve it if i will not start doing something towards my dream like working on being a good leader and organizer of a small organization. I can't just cheat in achieving my dream because it is better to achieve your dream step by step.
The quotation means that if you want to become someone in the future you should do something to achieve you dream. For example, if you want to become a painter you should have already started preparing to become one not just dreaming to become a great painter in the future.(kawi tumingeb)
A person is worthless if he doesn't work. If he doesn't work he can't achieve something which leads us back if he can't achieve something he is nothing.(Replacing the words nothing with its synonyms might also work because these repetitions make the quotation confusing thus hiding the meaning).
I agree with this passage because whoever you are you can't achieve something if you do nothing because even God worked.
I would like bums to be my example because they are the "nothings" of our world. If a bum wants to change his life for the better he should take certain steps to achieve this goal, in other words he should work. If ever he becomes successful, surely, he deserves it and becomes a "someone" because he achieved "something".
The quotation means that if you are a lazy type of person you will not achieve something in the Future . So in order for us to make our ambitions to come true we must exert more effort in finding a a job in the future in order for us to live .

And a person who is lazy to work is UNKNOWN to the eyes of every people which should be an identity that will make him who and what he is. For example, I myself wanted to be a Physiological Psychologist in the future. So I need to work hard in high school and to do all the requirements. I agree with this passage. If you don't work, who will work for you. All of us must work to live.
For example, a student who is lazy can not become successful in his chosen career if he/she will not do something about it. He must finish his schooling and work hard for it first.
The quotation means that you will not achieve or accomplish something if you are lazy or do not do anything at all. And someone without any accomplishment is considered a nobody.
As for me, I believe in the quotation. Why? Because if you are lazy and do not do anything at all to pursue you dream then what will you achieve, nothing!
For example, I want to be a lawyer in the near future. If I do not work and just keep on imagining things then, how will my dream come true? So in order to become a lawyer, I should do my best to finish my studies and to pass the BAR examination. I should not let my dream remain as dream only.
